SALE - Snowstorm (Original, Signed and Framed)

Painting size: 30cm x 20cm

With this painting I was trying to evoke an early morning, with a frosty mist.  I think it looks more like a flurry of snow.  There's a pathway with a farmhouse and old stone walls if you look closely through the white flakes of snow dominating the painting.  I hope the viewer will find themselves in the scene, wanting to walk towards the home to find warmth and shelter. Whilst I am not a fan of the divisionism technique of Georges Seurat and Paul Signac there is something of a much more loose version of this going on in this painting, with the overall impression being influenced by symbolist artwork. 

The cost includes exceptional quality framing, dry mounted (meaning the painting remains completely flat forever), art glass (thick UV reflective glass ensuring the painting doesn't fade), mounted and framed with the best materials.  Close from Natural Oak, Limed Oak, Dark Stained Oak or White Washed Wood (my favourite!).
