I Came Back (Original, Signed and Framed)

I enjoy creating paintings that evoke a sense of storytelling.  I was influenced by looking at some early paintings by Van Gogh.  Just brilliant - but of course, he used oil paints.  Here of this piece I have used some of the techniques I've enjoyed playing with and developing with masking fluid, to create what I hope in an interesting colour palette.  I've used layers of watercolour paint followed by using gouache paints to create opaque highlights. 

The title just came to me, the idea of someone returning home after some time away, but the interpretation is down to the viewer. Is it the beginning or the end of a story? I always lean towards something romantic, where often the best stories can be found.

This is a new size of painting - a good size to be striking when framed but won't dominate a room or wall.  

The cost includes exceptional quality framing, dry mounted (meaning the painting remains completely flat forever), art glass (thick UV reflective glass ensuring the painting doesn't fade), mounted and framed with the best materials.  Close from Natural Oak, Limed Oak, Dark Stained Oak or White Washed Wood (my favourite!). 

Of course, if you'd prefer to frame the painting yourself then the cost is reduced.
